ABOUT

Lucid Sketcher is an archive of places remembered through lines and colour. Through architecture, streets, and landscapes encountered during my travels, I capture the character of places using ink, alcohol markers, and watercolour.
My fascination with architectural sketching began in 2022 while exploring the colonial streets of old Mumbai and Fort Kochi, where every building seemed to carry a story waiting to be drawn. Most of my works then were based on the photographs I took during my travels.
Inspired by architectural sketching and the works of Albert Kiefer and Milind Mullick, I explore the art of transforming ordinary scenes into meaningful visual stories.
Every print and commission on this site begins the same way: as an original piece, drawn and painted by hand, not generated or templated. If you'd like to see a place preserved this way, I'd be glad to hear from you.
